The Yorkshop Details

Introduction

  • This post is an in-depth look at our Yorkshop offered to you.

  • Anyone that wants to learn more in-depth about the services we provide will benefit from this read.

  • In this post, we will cover what the Yorkshop is, why it is important, how YOU will benefit from it, and what you can do right now.

What is the Yorkshop?

The word Yorkshop combines the words Workshop and Yoga, as that is the service provided.

This service is for your general mental health. To understand where troubles could be and understand how to help them.

Why is The Yorkshop Important?

We can be taught all the exercise, nutrition, or other information throughout our days and have awareness brought to them. Sometimes there is even awareness brought to the topic of mental health.

What is not brought to the attention is how to improve. The steps to take action. People can tell us simply to get stronger, but without guidance, we have no idea how to actively get stronger.

The Yorkshop is important because we are building a community that will learn actual mental health techniques and how to implement them in our lives.

Through my research, I can find that we can boil the causes of mental barriers to any of these three demons; procrastination, perception, or stress. If you can think to yourself, “yes, I have had problems with these,” this Yorkshop could be beneficial.

Coming to the workshop to learn and utilize the information given will help you to fight these demons and help you break the barriers so you can fly through new levels of your life.

How Does The Yorkshop Benefits You?

If you attend the Yorkshops, you will be able to learn, implement, and begin to utilize information to break these three demons and make yourself the best you that you can be.

When you can help your general mental health, you can find new ways to improve yourself.

This workshop gives you techniques and information that will help with improving yourself. However, that is not all that you get out of this.

Doing this in a group setting allows us to build a community (If you would like to do this alone, contact me for individualized personal training). When we build a community, we are given a support group.

If one of our goals is to stop the mental health stigma, we have to start somewhere. When we together as a whole talk about mental barriers and solutions to them, we are building a bond that will keep us together and whole.

From that, hopefully, you keep coming back each week to build more skills and hold yourself accountable for bettering yourself while also sharing the information in your daily lives. Hopefully, other people are learning this because of you.

What Will Be Covered?

Many of these blog posts are snippets of information we will utilize in the workshops.

The first few may cover information about our inner dialogue and voice, what fear is, and other tactics we can utilize.

While the blog posts are great, it is a whole other experience to sit around and talk about them, bouncing ideas off of each other and implementing the information in practice right away.

What To Do Now?

If this sounds interesting to you (if you can relate to procrastination, perception, or stress, then it most likely does), you could find interest in these workshops.

Make sure to mark your calendars, as we will have our Soft Opening on August 6th at 9:30 am, a Special Event on August 20th at 7:00 am (it will be lots of fun), and a Grand Opening on August 27th.

You can RSVP on this website’s home page, but if you do not, you can still come! When you arrive, you will sign a liability waiver for legal purposes and then start the journey to change your life and mind from fragile and distraught to healthy and resilient!

Closing

Your health matters. You can tie everything back to your mental health. Strengthen it, and you will strengthen your whole life.
